This country residence is owned by the Papi family and has remained in the family for many generations. Most recently restored with love and respect by David and his mother Gabriella, original features have been maintained and well preserved.

The country residence is surrounded by large grounds; rich in flora including olive and pine trees. At the centre of the grounds sits a wonderful swimming pool and the glorious restaurant, from where you can truly appreciate the beauty and peace of the surrounding valleys.

ROOMS & SUITES
Down to the smallest detail, each room has been lovingly restored. Luxury and wellness were the main drivers for the restoration and furnishing of the residence. This 18th century residence has been completely restored respecting its history and at the same time encompassing modernity with particular attention to the wellness of guests.

The existing structure has been sensitively preserved and restored using traditional and authentic materials. Original interior decorations add to the everlasting charm of the residence.

The 16 Rooms & Suites abound with quality furnishings; fine curtains and linens. Antique furniture is provided in the comfortable seating areas. La Corte Realis is an oasis of peace and complete relaxation. Offering a bespoke service, ensuring your privacy and wellness, your dreams come true.

THE INDOOR RESTAURANT
The restaurant is located in what was the old cellar of the residence. A romantic area with characterful stone walls, a timber roof and terracotta floor tiles.

The menu offers a wide selection of Tuscan specialities, both modern and traditional. The chef and his staff personally prepare all of the dishes, including the bread, pasta and desserts. The same can be said the food offered at breakfast.

The dishes available reflect the quality and the freshness of ingredients and of course are elegantly presented and complemented by the immaculate table service. In the summer the restaurant relocates close to the swimming pool, situated in the large garden with its many flowers and pine trees. Here you will enjoy the peace and the magical atmosphere of the Tuscan countryside.

THE OUTDOOR RESTAURANT
The garden adjacent to the swimming pool is the ideal place to dine in the summer. The setting provides the perfect atmosphere for a romantic candlelit dinner and will enhance the most important of events.

The surroundings are characterised by the elegant wrought iron gazebo and by large grounds planted with olive and pine trees together with a fabulous variety of local flora. All in all it presents an idyllic showcase for the peace and magic of our beautiful Tuscan countryside.

THE WINE CELLAR
In our wine cellar we have about 700 labels of the best wines from many regions of Italy, with a particular preference for the red wine of our Tuscany: Sassicaia, Ornellaia, Masseto, Solaia and Tignanello are just some of the famous names we propose.

THE CHEF
Giuseppe Masciopinto took charge of our restaurant after having worked throughout Italy and abroad in high quality restaurants, many of which are Michelin recognised. The experience he has accumulated, combined with his deep passion, drive Giuseppe towards the creation of new and exquisite dishes. Dishes that are always bursting with flavour whilst always respecting the Tuscan culinary tradition.

The swimming pool with its terraces is the framework of the summer restaurant and is the protagonist of our outdoor events.

EXCURSIONS
The countryside surrounding la Corte is perfect for walking or cycling. We are happy to recommend routes suitable for experienced ramblers or for those simply seeking a gentle stroll. The routes will allow you to admire and enjoy this beautiful region.

For those who would like to be accompanied during the excursions, la Corte is able to provide professional guides and personal trainers who will happily guide you. If you would like to horse ride, we can also organise riding lessons at stables close to la Corte as well as accompanied rides through our wonderful local countryside.

GOLF
One of the finest golf courses in the centre of Italy is only 30 minutes by car from la Corte. The golf course offers a glorious introduction to the sport for all ages. Teachers at the course can explain the basics for those new to the game or for the more experienced provide tips on how to improve technique.
