Albergo Pietrasanta is located in the seventeenth-century Palazzo Barsanti Bonetti, one of the most significant buildings in the historic center of Pietrasanta. In the transformation of the ancient building into a hotel, particular attention was paid to the preservation of the original decoration, in particular the frescoes on the ceilings of the rooms and common areas.

Albergo Pietrasanta features a collection of contemporary art works that offers an extensive overview of the developments of Italian art from the mid-twentieth century to today. Contemporary art works are displayed in bth common areas and rooms creating a prestigious atmosphere.

The green heart of Albergo Pietrasanta, a preciously situated between the main building and the ancient stables, the garden of centuries-old palms is one of the Guests most appreciated areas for reading a book, an aperitif or an outdoor coffee.

The 20 non-smoking rooms, of different categories, are all equipped with free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, heating, safe, direct telephone, LCD TV, minibar, desk, fine linen, bathrobe and soft sponges, hairdryer and courtesy line of origin local, qualitatively selected respecting the environment.

We had to give up our appreciated buffet and switched to an Italian breakfast. Breakfast outdoors to start the day in a unique, relaxing, bright environment.

We cannot talk about Albergo Pietrasanta without referring to its private collection of contemporary art works. A significant overview of the developments of Italian art from the mid-twentieth century to today in an ideal path led by an art critic between the common areas and the rooms.

EXHIBITION OF JEWELS
An exhibition of jewels by the local artisan Marco Balderi enhancess the atmosphere of the main hall. Unique creations in which various materials share pride of place with the noblest metal: gold.

ART STUDIO VISIT
Art in its various forms, photography by the Maestro Romano Cagnoni and Patricia Francescetti, both of them internationally recognized and awarded. The sculpture by the artist Claudio Capotondi whose works are appreciated worldwide by private collectors and for public installations.

PIETRASANTA INCANTA – DEL MAESTRO LUIGI ONTANI
Guided tour of the artistic workshops and the historic center of Pietrasanta. Visit to the foundry where the bronze sculptures of Botero and Mitoraj are created, the sculpture workshop for the artistic processing of marble, and artistic mosaic. The tour continues with the discovery of medieval and contemporary works of art in the town squares.

LUCCA GUIDED TOUR
Lucca, one of the most beautiful and beloved art cities in Tuscany, also named the city of 100 churches for its incredible collection of cult sites. Lucca will surprise you with its historical testimonies, such as the splendid and intact walls, still today a splendid view of the city and the beautiful Piazza dell ‘Anfiteatro – once a Roman Amphitheater.

MUSICA ED EMOZIONI
Pietrasanta in concerto, the chamber music festival organized by Director Michael Guttman is confirmed as one of the key events of the 2021 summer season with a prestigious parterre of international musicians.

Puccini Festival, Land of Puccini, Versilia dedicates a summer festival to the composer with a large open-air theater on the shores of Lake Massaciuccoli in which the universally known operas are represented. The staff of the Albergo Pietrasanta is keen to organize the musical nights for our guests.
