LAGO DI BRAIES
The largest natural lake in the Dolomites is a true natural spectacle worth visiting in every season. Located at the foot of the Croda del Becco and the Braies Dolomites, it is part of the Fanes-Sennes-Braies Nature Park and thus a protected natural monument.

In the summer months, the summits of the surrounding mountains are reflected in the deep blue, partly emerald-green waters, but even in winter the frozen lake exudes a very special flair.

ÖTZI MUSEUM IN BOLZANO
History buffs should not miss the South Tyrol Museum of Archaeology in the historic centre of Bolzano. In addition to a variety of temporary archaeological exhibitions, the permanent exhibition on Ötzi the Ice Man is also housed here.

See the original and very well-preserved ice mummy, estimated to be around 5,300 years old, plus other original finds such as clothing and equipment, as well as a life-like Ötzi reconstruction.

THE TOURISEUM IN MERANO
