A generous corner of the Château garden is a profusion of herbs and ripening vegetables that inspire L’Oliveraie’s menu. Lounge beneath the boughs of an ancient olive, relishing the sundrenched Mediterranean flavours; herb-infused grilled fish and meats, rustic pizzas from our wood-fired oven, teppanyaki plates and zesty salads.
LE ROSSINI
Le Rossini is the most refined setting for an evening cocktail on the French Riviera. Seated on the terrace, a glass of champagne is savoured with splendid sweeping views over the Côte d’Azur.
After-dinner cocktails are a particular pleasure in the bar, which is furnished with a regal splendour. Of special note are the rare tapestries, commissioned from Manufacture des Gobelins in Paris more than 200 years ago. Le Rossini also serves an exceptionally elegant afternoon tea.

CHATEAU HONEY
Since 2014, we have overseen two beehives in the Château gardens to encourage native pollinators and support biodiversity. Until now, our house honey has been served in its purest form at breakfast.
For his debut season, Chef Malo Le Cras will transform the honey into delicious hard candy and ice cream to feature in his fabulously sweet creations. The precious nectar of our hardworking honey bees is getting a starring role!

The excursion begins with a car transfer to the top of Col de Vence where, at 3,159 feet, the incredible views comprise the Alpine foothills stretching all the way to the Franco-Italian border and, of course, the glistening blue expanse of the Mediterranean Sea.

This hilltop beauty is historically renowned for craftsmanship, not only for the traditional jar makers, which you can visit at La Poterie Provencale, but also a special glass which encapsulates bubbles, an accident of science when a young engineer introduced sodium carbonate to the melting process. MOUGINS
Winemaking Monks of Saint-Honorat ruled this fortified town in the 11th century, today it is a gastronomic stronghold, with renowned restaurants and festivals. Picasso lived here and his works are exhibited at the Mougins Museum of Classical Art along with Warhol and Damien Hurst showing the influence of the neoclassical on contemporary art.

Extremely high at 420 metres, and especially quaint, with narrow streets, low archways and charming stone houses draped in jasmine and colourful creepers. The Jardin Exotique makes a distinctive juxtaposition to the ancient rooftops, with striking palms and giant cacti framing the spectacular Riviera vista.
ANTIBES
A strategic port for Greeks, Napoleon and the jet set, today the marina is a flutter of white sails and elegant classic yachts. The true charm of the city is in the cobbled streets and Provencal market. Château Grimaldi exhibits Picasso ceramics which he created here, another museum of Napoleonic memorabilia is largely the collection of André Sella, founder of Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc.

The capital of the French Riviera, originally named by the Greeks Nikaia, ‘City of Victory’. Stroll along the palm lined Promenade des Anglais, it was the English upper class who began the city’s Belle Epoque. Visit the daily flower market in Cours Saleya which transforms in summer evenings to a craft market, and the nearby Matisse and Chagall museums.

Stroll along La Croisette, one of the most stylish boulevards on the Côte d’Azur, purring with the glamour of the annual Cannes Film Festival.
