La Drogheria e Locanda Franci wants to offer its customers a unique stay experience, in the heart of Montalcino, with an architectural style that fits perfectly into the Tuscan tradition, between wood, bricks and exposed stone. Our Drogheria was born as a shop for the sale of honey, spices, pasta and quality local products, transformed into a wine shop with the sale of local wine, Brunello and Rosso di Montalcino.

Our way of doing hospitality is based on the figure of the grocer: a person respectful of the past and of beautiful things, who by selecting the best of local products and services, knows how to advise the guest to make him enjoy a refined and tailor-made experience. Our accommodations are characterized by a pleasant blend of natural materials and elegance, which help to promote relaxation and well-being.

The four-poster bed fills the room and is perfect for letting yourself be transported into a world where nothing is left to chance and every detail is perfectly designed for your comfort and relaxation, from soft and delicate colors to the scents of the essences that envelop the room.

The lights are also designed to give the environment the right intensity and the particular wooden lamps were created by local artisans. Through a wooden staircase you arrive in the skylight, an enchanted place from which to observe a wonderful starry night or let your thoughts fly by observing clouds and cirrus clouds carried by the wind.

Villa La Fortezza stands independently in the heart of Montalcino, immersed in the history and poetry of the Val d’Orcia. Skilfully restored and furnished with care, it features a large living room with fireplace and TV, a comfortable dining room, a fully equipped kitchen and three bedrooms with independent bathroom beyond the bright entrance hall.

Surrounded by a private garden with barbecue, it also offers a quiet and secluded patio and a large terrace for magnificent aperitifs. Guests have access to private parking located inside the property, free wi-fi and the possibility of renting pedal assisted bicycles for wonderful walks. It will also be possible to request local wine tastings assisted by a sommelier as well as meals and breakfast at the Drogheria Franci.

CASA DEL DAGO
Casa del Dago is located in the historic center, a few meters from Piazza del Popolo, the beating heart of the medieval village. The apartment with independent access, located on the first floor, has been completely renovated and cared for in every detail.

Beyond the entrance with a large sofa and wall-mounted TV there is an equipped kitchen, a generous bathroom with shower and a magnificent bedroom where you can rest in the comfortable four-poster bed. The windows overlook the Corso showing one of the most evocative views of the Val d’Orcia. Free wifi is available in the house.
