JURMALA
The largest resort city in the Baltic States is well-known for its natural treasures – the mild climate, sea, healthy air, curative mud and mineral water. The main attraction of Jurmala hides in its almost 33 km long white sandy beach, the large pine forests and the natural border of the city – the river Lielupe.

During the 3-4 hour tour, discover a combination of charming wooden houses, built in the beginning of the last century, walk along the central promenade of Jomas street, visit the famous concert hall Dzintari and the wonderful beach.

SIGULDA
Situated on both banks of the ancient valley of the Gauja River, Sigulda is one of the most beautiful cities in Latvia. Sigulda – a cozy town that lies 52 km to the North from Riga in the territory of the Gauja National Park.

The Gauja River forms the deepest primeval valley in the Baltic countries with red sandstone cliffs, grottoes, spring waters and deep foliage forests. Sigulda is famous for its Medieval Age castle ruins of Livonian Order Knights and the 13th century Bishop’s Castle ensemble. The tour will last around 4–5 hours.

RUNDALA PALACE
Rundale Palace is one of the most outstanding monuments of Baroque and Rococo art in Latvia. The 4-5 hour tour will take you 80 km from Riga to the Southern part of Latvia – Zemgale, once the famous Duchy of Courland. Rundale Palace was built between 1736 and 1740 as a summer residence of Duke Ernst Johann of Courland.

It was designed and built under the supervision of the renowned Italian-born Russian architect Francesco Bartolomeo Rastrelli. His major works include the famous Hermitage, Peterhof Palace and Catherine Palace in Saint Petersburg, Russia.

During the tour you will see:

Less than an hour’s drive from Riga, Sigulda is the perfect antidote to big city bustle. Stunning scenery, ancient castles and incredible adventures await you in this natural wonderland. Overlooking the picturesque Gauja River in the majestic Gauja National Park, Sigulda’s forested valleys are steeped in myths and legends.

Travel back to the past with a visit to Turaida Museum Reserve, home to the impressive Turaida Castle as well as Folk Song Hill, a symbol of Latvia’s rich musical heritage where timeless pagan ceremonies are held.

Or take in the poetic ruins of Sigulda Castle across the valley and the imposing 19th century New Castle next door. Upon request, tours can also be guided by our general manager who is an avid rider himself.

OZO GOLF CLUB
The first 18-hole golf course in Latvia is one of the most technologically advanced in Northern Europe. Rob Swedberg from Denver, Colorado has managed to implement accents of his Rocky Mountains, widely adapted the banks of the nearby lake Kisezers, as well as formed 16 ponds and 50 sand bunkers in the golf course.

AERODIUM VERTICAL WIND TUNNEL
Fulfil your oldest dream and fly without wings! Nearly anyone can fly! Previous experience is not needed – Aerodium will fully equip and prepare you for the flight. You will never forget the feeling of an absolute freedom and independence!

Who can fly? Anyone aged minimum 4 years and in weight between 20 and 140 kg (44 – 308 lb.). Located outside Riga, near Sigulda. 50 km from the Grand Palace Hotel.

SIGULDA ADVENTURES
Aerodium vertical wind tunnel, bungee jumping and cable car experience – all in one adventurous trip! Choose flying 4 minutes in Aerodium vertical wind tunnel, enjoy bungee jumping and overlook river Gauja valley from the cable car.

You will be picked up from the hotel at around 10 AM for the morning program or at around 7 PM for the evening program and taken back to the hotel.

AERODIUM is an open-air vertical wind tunnel, where anyone can fly for real like a bird in the sky! Flying allows you to believe that the impossible can be achieved! Anyone from 4 years of age and older can fly. It is safe and no previous experience is required.

CABLE CAR offers a trip across the river Gauja valley. A fantastic view of the river Gauja, forests and Turaida castle opens from the window of the cable car. The cable car runs at the height of 43 meters.

BUNGEE JUMPING is a free fall from the cable car, located 43 meters above the river Gauja. The leap provides an unforgettable shot of adrenaline!

TOP GUN
Be a TOP GUN pilot for a day! The professional aerobatic jet team was created in 2008. Since then it has participated in various air shows and exhibitions all over the world.

The fleet consists of six L-39C Albatros aircrafts. With more than 2 800 aircrafts delivered worldwide, L-39C has accomplished a wide popularity among private owners, aerobatic jet teams and more than 30 Air Forces in Europe, Asia, Africa and America.

L-39C possesses excellent technical, aerodynamic and handling characteristics. The aircraft includes zero-height ejection seats for both, pilot and trainee.

Your own adventure with jet team will last for about 2.5 hours, including introduction stage with information of the flight program, L-39C aircraft and its main systems, expected maneuvers, basic laws of aerodynamics and your own health check-up.

Shortly afterwards you will take the co-pilots seat, and the instructor will explain you the airplane’s instruments, explain their functions and will brief you into the safety procedures.

From the moment of take off until landing, your flight will take not less than 20 minutes. During the flight you will experience such aerobatic maneuvers as bends, turns, loops, a bell and others.

Level of g-force will be coordinated by the pilot depending on your mood and physical condition. Under the supervision of the pilot, you will also be given a possibility to take the aircraft control in your own hands. After the flight you will receive a certificate confirming your flight with L-39C aircraft.
