SUITES
The Re Dionisio Boutique Hotel consists of 9 Suites that overlook the Ionian Sea. It almost feels like you’re touching the water that wets the coast! Each Suite is air-conditioned and equipped with a 50″ flat-screen smart TV, hairdryer and courtesy set with Sicilian citrus fragrances.

In all the rooms there is a contemporary work of art representative of the pictorial, photographic and sculptural voice of our time. The Italian-designed décor, with Molteni furniture, makes the interiors wide and bright.

Our Deluxe Suites are embellished with Modica’s stone and inside each suite, a wine cellar with a fine selection of wines is available for guests. A fine oak parquet runs through both Attic and Deluxe Suites. During your stay the staff will be at your disposal to fulfill all requests.

SUITE ATTICO ARETE
Dedicated to Arete, daughter of Dionisio, the Suite is located on the penthouse floor. Ariete was called with this name because according to the ancient greek philosophy, the conception of Arete meant fortitude, moral and physical strenght.

It coincided with the realization of the innate essence of the person, so, with the names given to her and to his other two daughters, the Tyrant was posing as the one who generates wisdom, virtue and justice. The names Sophrosine, Arete and Dikaiosyne, are in fact, names that indicate wisdom, virtue and justice.

The “Arete” Suite is located on the penthouse floor of the King Dionisio Boutique Hotel. It is very bright with large openings and a large terrace set up overlooking the sea. It consists of a well-equipped kitchenette, dining area, sofa bed, bathroom and a large master bedroom.

SUITE ATTICO DORIDE
Dedicated to Arete, daughter of Dionisio, the Suite is located on the penthouse floor. Ermocrate was known to have fought with the Spartans in the Aegean sea, was allied to Dyonisius the Great and gave him in marriage her daughter Doride, a fertile woman that gave him many children.

Doride was a woman loved by all the Syracusan people but was never appreciated by the Tyrant. The “Doride” Suite is located on the penthouse floor of the Re Dionisio Boutique Hotel. It is very bright with large openings and a large terrace set up overlooking the sea.

It consists of well-equipped kitchenette, dining area, sofa bed and a large master bedroom. SUITE DELUXE DAMOCLE
Cicero, the Latin philosopher, narrates that Damocles lived in the court of Dyonisius, harboring jealousy for his life that he thought was happy. To prove otherwise, Dyonisius invited him for lunch and made him sit on his throne.

The happiness of that man became suddenly fear when he noticed that, a sword tied to a horse hair was hanging over his head. Dyonisius showed him this way that even a tyrant cannot be free of dangers, and that even him could be slained anytime by a sword.

The Deluxe Suites are arranged on two levels, a living area and a sleeping area which is very bright with large Sea View windows. With large and bright interiors, our Deluxe Suites come with all comforts.

SUITE DELUXE SATIRO
The Suite Deluxe “Satiro” is the only suite with a private access to our Spa “I Bagni del Re”, ideal for who wants to relax and have some quiet time for themselves. Filisto, a hystorian who lived in Sicily 2400 years ago in the court of Dyonisius, narrates that the mother of the tyrant, while she was pregnant, dreamt to give birth to a little satyr (one of those half-man and half-animal beings) that represented instinct, wildness and luxury.

The shamans told her that her son would be the most famous man in Greece and that he would have an everlasting fame. That man was Dyonisius the Great. The Deluxe Suites are arranged on two levels, a living area and a sleeping area which is very bright with large Sea View windows.
