Visiting a territory in the company of a chef is unusual, yet the culinary art reveals itself in the history of the people and the land where it evolves! In this tour you will be guided by chef Claudio Ruta from Michelin starred “La Fenice” restaurant, a true master in the kitchen.
He will be accompanied by one of our expert archeologists. We will lead you to the discovery of some produce of the Hyblaean land, starting with the visit to a farm set in the middle of the Ragusa countryside.
Here we will show you the secrets and the history of the local dairy tradition. Also, we will pick the vegetables with you and then choose the meat for a typical lunch based on ancient Hyblaean recipes.
Before sitting at the table, we want to engage you in an evocative archeology tour through the nature of Cava Celone. This will prepare you in the best way to taste the dishes made by Claudio and his staff.
